Sp4 screen replacement problem.

I bought a sp4 last spring and finally got all the parts to fix in recently. I replaced the battery and screen. When I put tape down and put the screen to it all. The touchscreen will randomly stop working or it won’t touch in the right spot. What did I mess up or didn’t do. Thanks for the help

bump. I'm thinking of replacing my SP4 screen due to flicker but it seems like such a delicate operation it's not worth doing unless you are prepared to lose a few along the way.

I find most touch screen problems and failures are due to the Digitizer board.
They are inexpensive, but requires the delicate process to remove the screen to replace.
