SPro2 - hdmi connection issue

Hi everybody
I recently bought a new tv, a PANASONIC - VIERA TX-50DX802B
and i was trying to connect my pro 2 to it via hdmi without success.
i've tried all the ports and all the projection options ( extend, duplicate etc etc) but all i 've got was a black screen on the surface and a black screen on the telly.
i also tried to change the surface resolution with no success.
anybody has a solution for this?

no reply? none had a similar issue?
I've bought another hdmi cable and now when i plug in using "extend" the tv shows the desktop for a second then goes to black and get back on desktop again and so forth. That is more disappointing than having a black screen.
Any thoughts?
i've tried the wireless adapter, but i had to reduce the surface's resolution a lot in order to stream something with no lag. And the refresh rate is really poor.
Any help will be appreciated.
