Stuck @ We couldn't complete updates

I shouldn't have never updated! Knowing this device doesn't even have the failsafes!
I'm stuck and the thing wasn't even budging for more than 2hrs so I ended having to restart it.
Now I'm stuck forever in this horrendous loop!
What are my options?

Can we get more info? Which updates were you installing? Have you tried the Power Down completely, hold the Volume Rocker Up and Power On?
