Surface 3 loses touch response intermittenly

I don't know how to explain this well, but my Surface 3 loses touch sometimes. Last night, while using my Surface 3, touch totally stopped responding. I'd hard re-boot, and a few minutes later, it would do it again. It happened like 5 times. I thought it could be Flash (*ducks) that I installed a few hours ago, so I uninstalled it. Seemed to improve, but it happened again when my daughter was playing "Stack Rabbit" this morning.
Surface 3 LTE 128 Win 8.1 (all updates installed).

I can't offer any solution, other than to say that (on windows 10) I have experienced 3 or 4 instances where the touch screen stops working an i have to do a hard reset. It is a VERY rare occurence for me, and the reset sorts it out just fine.
