Surface Pro 3 backlit keyboard dead

I reattached it and turned it off and started it again. I made sure the keyboard was lined up with my surface pro, but I have no backlights. Otherwise, the keyboard seems to work. I've only had it a few weeks

Have you tried pressing the backlight dim/brightness buttons on the keyboard? f1 and f2.

God, yeah, try those buttons on the keyboard. I hope this isn't an issue.

Try press FN together with Caps Lock. This switches it in and out of FN lock mode. After that, try the backlight dim and brighten keys on the keyboard (F1 & F2).
