Surface Pro camera problem

My camera appears to be functional; however when I touch the screen to take a photo I get the following message:
"something went wrong while taking this photo"
I get this message using the camera and video option. Any ideas????

I've had my tablet for about a week and this was my first attempt at using it.

Open Camera > swipe up from bottom > Camera Options > what do you see? Next, Open Camera > Charms Bar > Settings > Permissions > Web cam & mic ON

From my options the microphone and webcam is on.

From the Modern UI select the Camera and then Uninstall. Reboot your Surface, open the Store > Charms Bar > Search > Camera > Reinstall > test it

Still doesn't work. Do you think a system refresh would help?

Did you check the destination folder if it is there?

The problem was resolved. I called Microsoft support and my destination folders were not configured correctly. Thanks for the help.
