type cover 2 touchpad randomly stops working?

Not sure when this started but a reattach will make it work again. Anyone else here having this issue?

Yes...seems to be a very common issue. The detach-reattach method is the standard MS response for "fixing" the problem; however, it doesn't repair the issue...just kicks it down the road for about 10-minutes. I'm hoping there will be some type of patch that resolves whatever connection issues are occurring before the type cover fails from too much "abuse". Also, I've noticed it may related to the Power Options and Close Lid settings. Hope MS addresses this problem soon.

Edit...just noticed that the new phone books are here. And it looks like the touchpad issues are mentioned! Check it.
