type cover not working when on "angled" position

can someone help or clarify why the type cover is not working when it is attached to the secondary magnets on the bezel?
 
You may have some debris interfering with the electrical contacts. Make sure they are clean and protruding fully. Also check for debris in the SP3 receiving port. If they are indeed clean, or your Surface Pro Type Cover (for SP3) is new, and failing, then you likely have a defective Type Cover.
 
Rub both the connections with your fingers or thumb - it's probably dirt from all the disconnecting, it creates an opportunity for bits of dirt to cover the connections.
 
I don't really know how if I'm allowed to create another thread but the same problem came again after I updated the device without the type cover attached. Please help. thanks in advance
 
I did uninstalled the previous update prior to this issue with the cover on but the cover still cant be detected when raised
