Web based sites and Windows RT

Is there a known compatibility issue with pull down menus on web based sites and the Windows RT Explorer app?

It is because the site has coded its menus for Mouse Events not Touch Events, you can try their mobile site which will be optimized for touch, if not use the Touch or Type Cover.
