Windows 9 on ARM could kill the desktop, merge Windows Phone and Windows RT

I'm fine without a desktop IF all the Tools and Office apps run in MUI and they allow cascading windows in MUI. maybe I could compromise if you could pin the MUI task switcher on left, right, top or bottom.

I do not want an iPad like single app existence or even duo (split/snap screen) only. That would be unacceptable.
