Wireless Speeds

I got 280Mbps copying a file from a local laptop with My Surface 3 which is in line with the transfer speed I got with the SP3 in previous testing.

I will do some more testing but I'm quite sure you are right. As per my previous post, the WiFi speeds are where they should be now.

Using speedtest.net at home over Wireless AC (D-Link DIR-868), my speeds are decent - circa 220Mbps down/up but ping is a tad slower than say my iPad Air 2. It may have just been time of day but my iPad Air 2 has been able to hit the 280Mbps down/up mark with a lower ping.

When you guys run speedtest.net on your Surface 3 do you find the graphics lag (e.g. when the needle moves it isn't smooth, and the real time graph stutters?).

Thought I'd post here again- I tried using Speedtest.net using IE rather than Chrome.



I foudn my Surface 3 stuttered when the download speed was over 200Mbps...but when it was slower it worked fine and the graphics were smooth. Weird right?
