Several times in the last few days I found myself touching the monitor screen of my huge desktop Windows 7 machine, only to realize that I have become accustomed to my Surface Pro 3. I've previously owned a Surface Pro, a Surface Pro 2, and continue to discover what my SP3 can do.
I still like my iPad, which is to say that various computing devices are not in competition for my attention, but have each found their niche. My iPhone, iPad, and Surface Pro 3 all join together to help me accomplish what I need and want to do.
But my huge space-heater desktop Dell Precision T7600 is becoming less useful every day. And touching its screen is only leaving fingerprints.
