Actual Surface Pro 2 Hardware "Firmware" Updates?

Is there any such a thing as actual SP2 device firmware updates themselves or are these sorta' integrated within the "Windows Updates" themselves?

They are deployed through Windows Update. On a quarterly (or there about) Microsoft releases a downloadable package for IT Administrators to integrate the updates into their corporate image.
