External USB WD 1TB Harddrive

I recently purchased an external WD My Passport Ultra harddrive. I use a Dell laptop running Windows 7 home premium and I locked the drive for security reasons. When I plugged the drive into my surface 2 I couldn't unlock it as the software wouldn't run. Is there anyway of unlocking the drive on the surface 2?

Hope someone else is using that combination. It sounds like the locking software is doing a good/great job.

I'm guessing *Hacking Team* wasn't using it.
