I have had my issues with the stock pen. Especially having to unscrew the cap to reset the AAAA battery. Also, it's too expensive to buy backups.

I found the HTC flyer pen on EBay for $10. I bought 2. It is same thickness and weight of stock pen but shorter. The buttons are better and the tip is consistent. It needs less pressure for initial read by screen.

Please note this is an ntrig pen of course. It works flawlessly but without silly Onenote button.

The pen I'm using came with the cover. No batteries and a soft tip. Needs pressure to work correctly, but not much. At least it is better than fat fingers!
