Google voice without installing chrome

I am so used to Google voice, free calls in usa. Ho to get it to work on sp3 without installing chrome. Would be nice if there was big buttons app. But even if not I cannot install google voice plugin on IE. I click on the button but nothing happens.

Yes, the plugin only works for desktop browsers. You asked for a way to use Google Voice without having to install Chrome so this is my suggestion.

Modern UI IE is plugin free (with the exception of Flash). So all 3rd Party Plugins only work in the desktop version of IE.

how is the quality with calling using google voice on the sp3? I use it on mobile for my main line and have for years and it has worked great. I didn't care for the hangouts integration with voice but its fine. Just wondering call clarity and quality using the sp3 mic and speakers.
