I have no use for the keyboard, but would love a cover that functions the same way. I looked around and didn't see anything similar. Seems like an inexpensive option that should be available
Is there no cover minus the typing part?

In part, yes. But that option does not exist for the SP3 though.

well then that would be a very expensive way to not use it! what the OP is asking to have a CHEAPER cover that isn't a $130 cover! without the keyboard it should only cost like $30/$40 dollars! but knowing MS they will prob sell it for like $70

Actually, MS should provide such a blank cover by default. It should be included in the box - like how the charger or the pen is! Colour - Black. You want a different colour, you can buy it for 20 bucks or something like that.

Yeah, I saw ones like that. What I'm looking for is something with the exact same functionality of the type cover. Can't believe some 3rd party hasn't put one out. Or is there some kind of patent on that design?
