Solved Key 4 and 6 quit working on type cover

If restart and reset doesn't work, I would suggest returning the Touch Cover....though you did not say you had a Touch Cover. 444444 666666 <<<<<< typed from an MS 4000 KB.

Check for debris or grime on those six electrical contacts along the magnetic flap.

Mine did that after spilling some soda on it. Took a while to get back to normal.

Good ole Best buy exchanged it 60 days out and I bought the 2 yr warranty 20 bucks. All is good for now.
