My Pen survived the washing machine

I threw my Scott eVest in the wash the other day and left my Pen stowed in its Pen pocket. Found it in the washer when I went to put the coat in the dryer.

I disassembled the Pen completely, removed both sets of batteries and then left all the individual components in a big bowl of rice overnight. I made sure that rice filled the smaller chambers of the Pen and cap portion.

Put it all back together the next day and it works great! I am glad too!

Ha, a better outcome than a real ink pen... you would likely have had ink all over your clothes...
