Whenever I buy anything with a modicum of complexity I try to find a forum covering it to answer any questions I may have about the item. A case in point is my new Microsoft surface Pro 3. Like the majority of electronics bought today it comes with minimal documentation. Basically just how to turn it on and from there on your on your own. I also have a newer Kindle which I will keep as a stablemate to my new surface Pro. There are some apps that I have on my Kindle that I cannot get on my surface Pro, such as my St. Paul Pioneer press newspaper app. But in all fairness there's a lot of things I can do on my surface Pro that I can't do on my Kindle. One of those being installing Quicken. One thing I have learned over the years forums like these are invaluable to the uninitiated.
