We will be expecting a detailed report of the process and equipment/tools used with pictures and videos.
It just isn't worth it. my guy in the back who does this for a living, I was gonna throw him 30 bucks, because... well no one works for free. And the best price I got for screen and digitizer was about 180 bucks. So im already over 200. For shits and giggles I went on craigslist today and saw someone post a used but barely touched surface 2, for 300 bucks. I offered 250 because at that price it makes sense, the guy said yes and Im now sitting here formatting the new surface. Came with a case ,charger and the box for it. So I would have saved about 30 or 40 bucks, and who really knows how it would have looked or came out.. maybe it would've been off a little on the touch screen? so I guess I'll just throw my old one away. I was hoping to find the screen and such cheaper , I mean at almost 200 bucks its really not worth it.
