power settings-hibernate ??s

When the i5-128 arrives shortly, I intend to set it up as I do my desktop:
hibernate disabled - one less file on SSD and I am an on/off type guy
high performance power settings - turn display off/never - put computer to sleep/never - under advance settings - turn hard disk off/never

the i5 will probably never leave home and never be far away from a plug.

Any thought on this plan appreciated.

I keep mine setup the same way. Why not plug your Surface in whenever it's convenient is my feelings. I think you got it right young lady.

Same here. In addition, like @bluegrass I keep I connected whenever possible. I do however, shut it down completely and remove power overnight.
