Previous Windows Applications

Hello guys,

My SB(i5, 256GB) has been running very smoothly and quietly, the fans never seem to kick in.

However, when I use the Skype for Desktop application, the pc starts to heat up very quickly and the fans kick in very soon after that. Why would that be? I mean my android phone runs skype effortlessly why would a pc of this calibre struggle?
Also I have been using acestream on my previous laptop to stream live football matches and it worked great but when I tried using it on SB, the SB got really really hot even with the fans working so I avoided using it again. Any ideas suggestions/ explanations for this?
By the way, when I mention my old laptop, it is an HP i5 with 4gb Ram.

Thanks

No idea really. I remember hearing guys complain about their SP's heating up running MS Sudoku of all things. Seems some code raises Cain with certain OS's. Just the way the apps are coded, not really a reflection on the hardware. Or could be a peculiarity in W10 - there's a lot about W10 that's less than "mature" shall we say.
