Ripped Touch Cover, Surface RT.

Hey. I have had my Surface RT and touch cover for about 2 months. Yesterday while I was setting my surface on a table, I noticed that the touch cover had ripped on the magnet connector. Since I bought mine at Best Buy and not a MS store, do you think Best Buy or MS would replace it? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Yes, Best Buy should replace it no questions asked. So far this issue hasn't resulted in anybody being denied a return, at least as discussed here.

The best way to remove a cover is to pull by a corner and angle it, not straight out with equal pressure across the magnets. IMO those commercials where they dangle the tablet by the cover is not good for the cover and/or magnets.
