SP3 i5 will not start.

Hello I am a new user to Surface. When I tried to turn on my surface today nothing happens at all. I tried to recharge and that did not help. Everything was fine until now, I can't understand what happened. Could anyone help me.

How long did you charge it? Was the charger cable light on? May need to charge 10-30 minutes...
Hold power button down for 31 seconds and release, then try to power on.

Hold the volume rocker up and press the Power Button (but don't hold it down), hen the Surface Logo comes up let go of the volume rocker, exit from the UEFI screen tout making any changes

If t does work, hold the power button down for the 30 seconds then try the above....

I tried this a few times and I will try it again. I called Microsoft and they said it is not a problem with the hardware but a problem with my software!
