The company I support has recently purchased 5 Surface Studios for some of its users. Before giving them to the employees, we clean the hard disk and then install our own Windows 10 image using a deployment server.
The first time I did this, the machines built without any problems whatsoever. However, two of the first three machines I need to send out needed to be built a second time. I again opened diskpart, cleaned the drive, and installed the Win10 image on the server.
The image itself loads without problems, but as soon as it attempts to start for the first time, the machine crashes and reboots itself in recovery mode. Its returning an error code of 0xc0000001 and asks me to insert the recovery disk.
I've tried turning on and off every feature I can in the UEFI without success. Please advise.
