Touch cover doesn't work after screen time out

I just picked up a Surface with Touch Cover yesterday and I'm really enjoying it except for one thing. Whenever I have the touch cover open and the screen times out, it doesn't work when I log back in. This is only after the 15 minute timeout, not the regular short screen cut off. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's getting annoying having to detach the cover and reattach it to get it to work again.

This could be a general "Cover" issue. I'm getting the same on my Type Cover occasionally, seems worse since last weeks updates

True, after the last update this error occours more often on my type-cover.

Try to fix the audio issue and break the cover... growing pains.
