Solved Touchscreen Stopped Working in Chrome

Hey folks,
Wanted to know if anyone has a quick fix: though I have not adjusted any settings, my ability to zoom in, scroll down, otherwise interact with chrome (besides enlarging and minimizing screen) has stopped working.
I do enjoy being able to easily zoom in and out on articles as I read them (especially in split screen with word pulled up).

After exiting out of the program, and reopening chrome, touchscreen is now back in action. An annoying fix, but a temporary fix all the same...lets see if it holds.
