the black one has some weird carpet stuff on the back and all the other colours are rubbery, why have they does this, the furry stuff on the back of the black one isnt easy to clean???!

Welcome xander94, it is called felt and it gives a nice texture to hold on to the Surface by when carrying as well as providing grip on a table or desk so the Surface doesn't slip. If you don't like it you can get a sticker cover for it like this Stickerboy ?
