From what I've read, the Surface 3 has better battery life than the SP2.
I see, it's just that atom processor and how impossible it is to find a sub $300 128gb model
With my old SP2 with the Power Cover I got about another 90-120 minutes....
Yea the power cover isn't really that useful with the SP2, I see that it is better suited for the sp1 and will give about an extra 3-4 hours making it just as if not better than the sp2. So I think a SP1 and a power cover will be a good deal. Thanks for you guys help.
I think you'll get 60-120 minutes extra with the SP1 and Power Cover

It will be difficult to find either an S3 or SP2 for less than $300 including the keyboard.
I just noticed that Newegg has refurbished SP2s for $330 (64GB) and $350 (128GB). The 64GB model has a $20 rebate card and the faster i5 CPU.
