Which Type Cover does the red Surface Pen match?

Greetings, all.

I'm on the cusp of getting a Surface 3 from my employer. However, before I order, I have a question:

Does the red Surface Pen match more closely the red Type Cover or the bright red Typr Cover. Online searches are inconclusive.

Any and all advice much appreciated.
