The VideoLAN Project, maker of the popular VLC video player, say the "Metro" version of its software will be ready for the Windows Store on Monday.

There's an additional comment about the audio/sub tracks not working, but VideoLAN wouldn't release such a version to the Win store--I think the PC World article is mixing up information from an earlier incomplete build. Not sure the "no ARM version" part is correct either, but we'll see on Monday.
