Great news all up and working, I removed heat sync and covers. The only visible thing I could see is the surround around the hard drive area was bent down, I straightened this up. I reconnected the screen and it powered up. Refitted heat sync, powered up and still ok. Refitted everything and still fine. Had to reset my pin number. But now have a long lasting tablet. I would like to thank you so much for all your help, I learnt a lot. I wish you and your family a happy Christmas and new year.
