buying a surface pro 2 in usa and using in thailand

At the moment surface 2 hasnt arrived in Thailand
I wanting to import one here

In America you use 110volt but here in Thailand we use 220 volt
Is the power supply usable in both countries

Well in the UK we use 240v and I've been told I can use an American machine fine... either by using a plug converter or buying a new power supply from Microsoft.

These days almost all electronic devices have chargers that covers 100 - 240V all you need is a plug adapter for less than a dollar.
