Email app very sluggish

I have 4 email accounts that I use with the stock email app: Exchange, Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail. I have found that the email app is painfully sluggish. Here is a list of problems:

• Application is slow to load email
• Keystrokes take a long time to register in this app - which is VERY weird. Weird and very frustrating.
• Navigation within the app is very slow

I have reinstalled the app twice already by the problems do not go away.

I have to Live accounts I'm using with the Mail app and I find it very useful and not sluggish at all. Working between both email accounts doesn't cause the app any issues. I evem used it snapped to the left and works great.
