I love my SP3, but she's an insomniac...

I'm sure this is an issue with an easy resolution. With that said, I really wish my SP3 would actually go into sleep mode, instead of staying up partying all night. getting all hot and bothered, and draining her battery.

The boot time is so fast, there is no reason to not just shut it down instead of banking on a good night's sleep. I just have to remember to do that.

To help with this issue we need more info.... how is your machine configured? Stock image or fresh install? Have you enabled Hyper-V or hacked the Power Management settings? Lastly, have you ran a Sleep Study to see what is keeping the machine awake?
