You need to use LAN performance testing not Internet access testing if you want to see if there has been any change since the update. Of course you will have had to baseline it prior to the update in order to compare.

I saw no performance increase transferring over my intranet. I was getting ~500KB/s a couple of days before and today after the update.

I was transferring a 4GB folder at about 10-12MB/s on 5GHz wifi N. Is that about right?
