USB Type C 3.1 Adapter Question

I recently bought the Net-Dyn AC 1200 USB Type C 3.1 WI-FI adapter. I use the Kensington Case to protect my Surface Pro 4. The problem is the the wifi adapter cannot be fully connected because the plug is not long enough to bypass the the protective case. The manufacturer does not recommened the wifi adapter to be plugged into a hub even though it will work.

Can anyone recommended a USB 3.1 Type C to USB 3.1 Type C adapter with a long plug?
