SP3 on an airplane: tablet or laptop?

I've flown 4 times with mine. Once was in a small laptop bag with an iPad and other random power cords and accessories, all jumbled together. The other was in a TSA-ready laptop backpack with my work laptop and a bunch of other electronics components (2 development boards, assorted cables and power supplies). Didn't take it out either time, no issues or questions.

I fly with a laptop and my SP3. I take the laptop out and leave the SP3 (with typecover) in the bag. I've never had anyone question it. Before getting the SP3 I used the same strategy with an S2 RT and an iPad all over the world and never had to take it out. Well, except when the iPad was new to market and they just wanted to see one and ask about it.
