Just dropped for me. 887.6 MB. Makes sense they would stagger the roll. Most iOS updates freeze up a good bit of the internet when they drop as well.

Yeps! I got the update. Downloaded it and it seems to be working just fine!

Question: Why is it that when I open an app - say the Mail app or the Store App and close it - either by clicking on the x at the top right corner or by dragging it down in the traditional way - am I thrown back into the desktop even though I opened the app from the Start screen?

Desktop Machine or Surface 2? If it is your desktop it is by design, if it is your Surface 2 it may have synched that setting from your desktop assuming it is now running the Update as well...

Uncheck this box...

It is unchecked - both on my Surface 2 and my desktop machine.

Check It...hit Apply...OK then go back in and Uncheck It and see if that fixes it...
